Open up the Snapchat app and select the lens—it’ll be the one with the “baby” icon. Tap on it and the effect will activate. Look into the camera and press the shutter button. When you’re finished, save the image of you as a toddler to your memories (press the “save” icon at the left-hand corner).
From there, you want to access the image from your Snapchat memories. Go back to the main camera screen and click the icon at the bottom—the one that looks like a pair of cards. Once the snap has opened, take a screenshot of it with your phone (instructions differ depending on your device) and save it to our camera roll.
The final step is to upload the kid image to Instagram. Open the app and select the screenshot from your camera roll—it should be at the top given that you’ve just saved it. Go through the normal editing process and you’ll be able to post your baby image to your account. See, it’s pretty straightforward, right?
The Kid Face Transformation filter is not available on Instagram yet—but you can still post the photo to your account! That’s right, all you need to do is take a snap with the lens first.
