The wonderful thing about the app is that there are many ways that you can customize your snap. Not only can you add captions, but you can also add stickers, even music!
Filters are another option. Basically, they’re artistic overlays that you can add to your snap. Some are location-based while others can be used everywhere. For example, some of them will alter your looks with face-detection technology. Others will add or change things around you—such as the background. At the end of the day, it all depends on the lens that you’re using!
Top Clothing Effect Snapchat Codes
On this page, we’ll be focusing on a particular type of filter—those that’ll change the look of your clothing (including dresses, shirts, you name it!). For example, many of them will overlay some sort of effect on top.

1. Emoji Shirt Snapchat Filter
Emojis, anyone? Because this filter will add a bunch of them to your shirt and that’s not an exaggeration! For those who are interested, scan the snapcode. The next thing you know, your shirt will be covered in emojis and you can’t tell from the example, but they’ll be animated! If anything, it’s like turning your shirt into a projector of sorts.
Oh, and there’s more than one emoji to choose from. Simply tap on the screen and the emoji will change, along with the color of your shirt! For example, it’ll turn purple if you choose the mouth-open emoji. And if you look at your head, you’ll see some emojis that’ll correspond with the theme!
2. Pixel Garment Snapchat Lens
This filter will literally pixelate your clothes. Your shirt, dress, pants—everything will turn into pixels! If anything, it’s almost like you’re censoring your clothes. If that interests you, why not scan the snapcode? The camera will turn on and you’ll be able to play around with the effect!
Just point the camera at yourself—it’ll activate as long as your clothing is visible. Your whole body doesn’t have to be inside the frame, but you can take a full-body snap with it if you want. It’ll end up looking something like the example above! As you can see, it’ll just be your clothes that’ll be pixelated. Everything else will remain normal.
3. Custom Cloth Print Snapchat Filter
What if you could put whatever you want on your shirt? Well, that’s what you’ll be able to do with this filter! Just scan the snapcode and the effect will activate. The next thing you know, the camera will turn on and you’ll see yourself on the screen. And see that? Your camera roll will also come up at the bottom.
Go on, pick a photo. Whatever you pick will end up as the new print for your shirt! It’ll literally be overlaid on top of the existing fabric. What if you could wear your own face on your shirt? Cause that’s precisely what you’ll be able to do with this lens! Simply scan the snapcode and it’ll work its magic. From there, just point the camera at yourself, make sure that your shirt is inside the frame (you may have to step back a bit) and the effect will activate.
The next thing you know, your face will appear on your shirt upside down! And it won’t just be a photo—it’ll be a live video instead. In other words, whatever you’re doing at that moment will be reflected on your shirt. It’ll look exactly like the screenshot that we’ve posted above. What do you think? You have to admit, it’s pretty funky.
5. Whistle My Shirts Snap Lens
Are you a Felix the Cat fan? Then this filter will probably be right up your alley! It’ll literally add him to your shirt and all you have to do is scan the snapcode. The next thing you know, the camera will turn on, and if you step in front of it, it’ll work its magic.
And by magic, we mean that Felix will appear on your shirt! He won’t just be there either, he’ll be walking around whistling. That’s right, you’ll be able to see him move on your shirt! If anything, that’s what makes the effect so cool. And as you can see from the example, everything will be black and white—except for the ‘rainbow effect’ on the shirt.
6. Colorful Garment Snapchat Lens & Filter
This filter will let you add some color to your clothes! It’s super easy to use too. All you have to do is step in front of the camera. Make sure that your shirt is in view and the effect will activate automatically. The next thing you know, it’ll start to change colors!
One second it’ll be yellow and the next it’ll be green. And it’ll constantly be changing—it won’t be stopping anytime soon. Given that, you might want to hold the shutter button down for a video. That way, you’ll be able to capture the color-changing effect! With that said, you can always use it for a photo too.
7. Love Shirt Snapcode
Are you someone who wears their heart on their sleeve? Cause this filter will let it wear it on your chest—literally! What do I mean? Scan the snapcode and find out. Once you do that, the camera will turn on. Step in front of it (your body has to be inside the frame) and the filter will work its magic!
The next thing you know, your clothes will turn black and there will be a 3D heart in the center. You can’t tell from the example, but it’ll actually be spinning continuously! So yeah, it might be best to record a video. That way, you’ll be able to capture the full effect of the garment-changing lens!
8. Lil Devil Shirt Snapchat Filter
Want to make your shirt pop? What better way to do that than by adding a little devil? Because that’s what this filter will do and all you have to do is scan the snapcode. Once the camera turns on, point it at yourself. The effect will activate as long as your shirt is inside the frame.
And as you can see, the devil isn’t your average devil. Not only will he have a pair of horns, but he’ll also have muscular arms and legs. Oh, and a giant tongue will be dangling out of his mouth! You can’t tell from the screenshot but the devil himself will actually be moving around on your shirt. That’s right, it’s an animated effect!
9. Goldfish Shirt Snapchat Filter
This filter will take you underwater without actually taking you underwater if that makes sense. Basically, there will be a lot of marine life on the screen! If that interests you, scan the snapcode. Turn the camera so that it’s pointed at yourself and it’ll work its magic.
An octopus (not pictured) will appear on your head and there will be a bunch of starfish and fish floating around on the screen. The highlight, though, has to be your shirt. Not only will it be blue, but there will be a giant goldfish swimming across it! If anything, that’s what the filter is named after.
10. Space Portal Shirt Snapchat Lens
Do you like all things galactic? If so, you’ll definitely want to check out this lens. Once it’s activated, a purple overlay will be added to the screen. That’s not all, there will be light purple ‘rain’ as well. You can see what I mean in the example above.
As for your shirt, it’ll have a cool purple galactic effect. You can’t tell from the image, but everything will actually be swirling around. Oh, and the filter will change the color of your eyes as well. They’ll be a light purple, just like your new shirt! You have to admit, it’s quite a cool-looking effect. It’d make a nice snap video, that’s for sure!
11. Animated Shirt Snapchat Filter
This filter will probably look a little familiar if you’ve played any of the Mario games. Basically, it’ll add a star to your shirt. Not just any star, but the star power-up from the games. It’ll have a little pixelated face and everything.
All you have to do is face the camera and the star will appear on your shirt. And as you can see from the example, it’ll be rainbow-colored. In fact, the colors will be constantly changing—you just can’t tell from the screenshot. So yeah, definitely take a snap video with the filter if you can!
